Meet Brandee
Brandee Evans is an accomplished actress, host, and business woman. She plays the role of Mercedes in the New Starz Hit TV Series, P-Valley, which was recently renewed for a second season. The show has enjoyed record-breaking debut viewership, and is currently one of the most popular TV shows on air with a rare 100 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. While season two of P-Valley is slated for a 2021 return, Evans added more opportunities for audiences to watch the versatility of her characters and her stardom grow. She brings the role of “Michi” to life in the screen adaption of the popular book, B-Boy Blues, and then drops in as hard hitting-assassin, Sage, in a recurring guest star role on the TV series, Family Business. Both projects are in development.
Before the big screen, Brandee was Chair of the English Department at Southwind High School in Memphis. She was also a dancer on world tours with talents like Katy Perry, and has been a choreographer for Monica, Ledisi, and others. She’s the current CEO of the Hip Hop In Heels®️ Fitness Platform that focuses on women’s empowerment and is a care-giver for her mother. In all that she does, Evans still honors her strong commitment to community service and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
